Flux Dev is live.
Fast, cheap stills for iterating
The draft tier for images. It costs a little over half of Flux Pro Ultra and turns around faster, which makes it the one to use while you are still deciding what the picture should be.
What it is good at
Trying compositions
Cheap iteration
Start frames you will re-roll
When to pick Flux Dev
You do not know yet what you want. At 5 credits you can run six variations for the price of one premium still, then re-run the one that worked on Flux Pro Ultra.
What it is not for
Detail and text rendering are below Flux Pro Ultra. It is a sketchpad, not the final frame.
A prompt that suits it
A ceramic perfume bottle on wet stone, soft window light, editorial still lifeHow it works here
Flux Dev runs from the same prompt box as every other model on Vydeyo, draws on the same credit balance, and drops its output into the same project. You can run the same prompt across several models at once and keep whichever one landed — which is the whole reason not to buy a separate subscription per model.
